The deadline for voting in the IGS Council Elections is imminent – June 18 – so make sure you cast your vote.
IGS members have the chance to select eight Council Members, a President and Vice President to form the Society’s new Council. Successful candidates will be revealed on July 1 and serve a four-year term beginning September, this year.
This year, and for the first time in Council Election history, the IGS has enlisted the services of specialist election management company UK Engage to organize, oversee and support the election process. The aim is to provide members with a smoother, more transparent voting experience. You can read more about the move here.
All members and eligible voters should have received voting instructions in April, as well as a reminder last month. If you need help with voting, or don’t think you’ve received any emails, contact IGS Secretariat Manager Elise Oatman at igssec@geosyntheticssociety.org.
