NAUE’s eco-friendly Secutex Green facilitated the greener construction of a nature reserve’s elevated access road and car park in North Devon, UK. Use of the materials contributed to the conservation of natural resources as well as carbon savings.
Launched in March, the IGS Sustainability Case Study series profiles projects that demonstrate the sustainability benefits of geosynthetics. The case histories outline the application involved, materials used and positive impact on the environment and community.
The case studies are also easy to download and share in a one-page pdf format. They can be found on the IGS Sustainability page here, where you can also find a variety of useful resources on sustainability and geosynthetics.
