Applications for the Young Member spotlight at GeoAfrica are now open. Only six IGS Young Members will be granted the opportunity to present alongside the IGS Student Award Winners for Africa and the Middle East.
All IGS members under the age of 36 are invited to present their cutting-edge research or novel case studies at this session.
- Applications close on the 15th of December.
- To apply for the session submit your abstract to https://geoafrica2023.org/abstract/, also send a copy to youngmembers@geosyntheticssociety.org.
- Full papers are due on the 15th of December 2022.
- The paper should be 4-8 pages.
IGS Corporate Member Benefits
Three spots are exclusively available to IGS Corporate members. As an additional benefit, authors employed by IGS Corporate members will qualify for a discounted registration fee of only $175. Finally, IGS Corporate Members that present qualifying case studies may apply to submit only an extended abstract for the session. Authors who are approved to submit an extended abstract will be required to submit their presentations for review to info@geoafrica2023.org by the 15th of January 2023.
