IGS General Assembly

The IGS will hold a General Assembly (GA) on Wednesday, 20 September 2023 from 16:30-18:10 Central European Summer Time. The GA is open to members of the IGS and will take place during the 12th International Conference on Geosynthetics (12ICG) in Rome. Please note, the meeting will be held in-person.

The main items of business will be:

  • Updates to Members on the IGS’s:
    • Performance
    • Future plans
  • Votes on:
    • Adjustments to member dues
    • Associated bylaw language
  • The IGS Sustainability Carbon Calculator
  • IGS Award presentations:
    • IGS Award & Service Award
    • IGS Young Member Award & Young Member Service Award
    • 20 & 30-Year Corporate Anniversary Awards

Any Member who wishes to suggest an item for the agenda of the General Assembly must submit a written statement to the IGS Secretariat at igssec@geosyntheticssociety.org no later than Monday, 7 August 2023.
