The International Geosynthetics Society (IGS) is pleased to offer this free First Mozambican Short Course on Geosynthetics. The short course is organized under the auspices of the South African Chapter of the IGS (GIGSA), the Mozambican Geotechnical Society (SMG), and the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE). The short course will be offered immediately after the 15th African Regional Conference (15ARC) on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering.
Emphasis will be on applications using geosynthetics that are expected to be particularly relevant for Mozambican and African projects. Educational material is expected to be provided to conference attendees.
