International Conference on "Innovative Solutions for Geotechnical Problems" in Honour of Prof. Erol Guler (ISGPEG2021) @ Bogazici University, Istanbul - Turkey

++ ISGPEG 2021 was postponed due to Covid-19. New event dates will be released soon.

Dear Colleaques,

As the organizing committee, we are pleased to invite you to the International Conference on “Innovative Solutions for Geotechnical Problems” in Honour of Prof.Erol Guler (ISGPEG2020)” at the Bogazici University in Istanbul-Turkey. This conference aims to gather a broad range of recent innovations in geotechnical engineering; testing, modelling, monitoring, field applications and risk analysis under the main topics of geotechnical engineering, geosynthetics, geotechnical earthquake engineering, and environmental geotechnics.

During this conference we will be happy to honor the distinguished professor of civil engineering – Prof. Erol Guler which is known as the leading geosynthetics scientist in Turkey. Professor Guler has made valuable contributions to geotechnical engineering in general and to the use of geosynthetics specifically in Turkey and throughout the World. He was instrumented in both research and also in the design of many geotechnical projects.

We are looking forward to seeing academicians, students, manufacturers, practitioners and designers in the geotechnical field at the ISGPEG2020 Conference. We want to extend a special invitation to engineers in general contracting firms, who will widely benefit from the Conference by learning more about the innovative solutions in geotechnical engineering to provide extraordinary financial and technical advantages.

We can guarantee that the ISGPEG2020 Conference will be an opportunity for all who attend to experience a valuable technical program, a magnificent city, and the essence of warm Turkish hospitality. The ISGPEG2020 will be valuable to geotechnical researchers and practitioners interested in all aspects of geotechnical engineering.

We are looking forward to meet you in Istanbul on June 11-12, 2020 to discuss creative and cost effective innovative solutions to geotechnical problems.

3rd European Regional Conference of IAEG (3rd EUROENGEO2020) @ Aegli Zappiou

UPDATE: The 3rd EUROENGEO conference has changed dates! The new dates for the event are: 8-12 April 2021.

The gathering marks the 3rd European Regional Conference of IAEG. It will be hosted in Athens, Greece, by the IAEG National Group of Greece. This European regional conference of IAEG will be the first in almost 12 years (the last being in Torino). Considering that almost half of the members and National Groups (NGs) of IAEG are from the European region, it was decided that a regional conference initiative could succeed with such a strong scientific and professional community in the same area.

More details about the 3rd European Regional Conference are available on the event website: http://euroengeo2020.org

HIGHLIGHT: The next Richard Wolters Prize competition will be presented by IAEG at the conference.

EuroGeo 7 - 7th European Geosynthetics Congress

We are pleased to invite you to the 7th EuroGeo conference, to be held in Warsaw, Poland in 2021. Poland is a country with more than a thousand years of recorded history and has a strong European identity. The country was first to free itself from communist domination in 1989 and is now fully democratic and a member of the European Union. Poland is a leader in infrastructure development in the region, which has resulted in many extraordinary projects. Warsaw, with its central location, is an ideal base for exploring the country. Today, the city is a dynamic cultural and business centre, with strong links not only to Western Europe but also to the East. PSG-IGS, a Polish Chapter of IGS is young but thriving organization successfully cooperating with several chapters within Central Europe. It is an honour to host such a prestigious conference in Warsaw and We sincerely believe that the sessions will prove to be a success. Come to Warsaw, bring your family and enjoy your stay in our capital and help us to make this Conference not only scientifically profitable but also an unforgettable event.

We look forward to seeing you in Warsaw!
