Registration
How to Register
All participants are kindly requested to register in advance by completing and submitting the Registration Form and by paying the appropriate fees. Registration via the Online Registration Form is highly recommended However for manual registration please note that the Registration Form is to be used to register one participant only and, if applicable, his/her accompanying person(s). Individual registration of the accompanying person is not allowed. For those wishing to register this way, registration will be accepted by fax or email to the Conference Secretariat on +27 21 559 4574/ 086 692 7220 or lesley@cebisaconferences.co.za and become valid upon confirmation of the registration fee transfer received by the Conference Secretariat.
Registration for GeoAfrica 2009 has closed as of 18 August, 2009.
Congress Registration Counter
The congress counter will be located in the Foyer of the 3rd Floor of the Southern Sun Cape Sun and will be open from 1st September onwards.
Poster Exhibition
Posters will be displayed from Wednesday, 2nd September until Friday, 4th September 2009. The poster wall is 1 m wide x 2,50 m high. The maximum poster size should not exceed 0,95 m wide x 2,28 m high.
Congress Language
The official language of GeoAfrica 2009 is English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.
Final Programme and Abstracts
The final program and abstracts will be published prior to the congress. Delegates will receive a copy of the final program with the congress material on site.
Letter of Invitation
The congress organization will be pleased to send a formal letter of invitation to delegates requesting an invitation letter for visa purposes. It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates to raise funds or to obtain a visa. This does not imply a commitment from the congress to provide any financial support. Letters of invitation may be requested from the congress secretariat no later than 20 June 2009. The letters will be sent via email.

Insurance
Please notice that the congress fee does not include insurance. All participants should arrange for their own insurance. Health and accident insurance is recommended and would need to be purchased in the country of origin.
