Geotextiles and Geomembranes is dedicated to the mission of the IGS which is to promote the scientific and engineering development of geotextiles, geomembranes, related products and associated technologies.

The journal publishes technical papers, technical notes, discussion, and book reviews on all topics relating to geosynthetics, research, behaviour, performance analysis, testing, design, construction methods, case histories and field experience.

Submission Information:

Papers should be submitted electronically as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF file to: kerry@civil.queensu.ca.

Please ensure the text is double spaced, there is an abstract with keywords included, and that tables and figures are at the end following the text. Please check the Journal's instructions for authors for other information regarding submissions. The journal strives to provide the authors with quick, constructive reviews and we appreciate the author's hard work in addressing these comments and quick return of revised papers.

Geotextiles & Geomembranes is available free, in electronic format, to IGS Members.

To activate free access and to create your personal account, you will need your IGS Society Membership Number which can be found on your IGS Newsletter mailing label.

Your Membership Number has to be entered at: https://cs.sciencedirect.com/activate/geotexmem/members

Note: that https:// MUST be entered for this URL. http:// will not work. This is to ensure that your registration details are secured when you enter them into the registration form.

After entering, click on "submit." The next step is to complete a user profile. You will be asked to fill out a form and choose a password. A username will be assigned. Both username and password will be case sensitive. After registration you can directly login with your new username and password.

Note: please do NOT use special characters, such as ö, ä, æ when entering your personal details into the profile form.

In the future you can go straight to: http://www.sciencedirect.com/geotexmem and enter your personal username and password in the login bar on the top of the page.

Individual members of the IGS may subscribe at an 84% discount –US$179 for six issues. IGS Corporate Members may subscribe at a 63% reduction US$416.
